Food and Wine Suggestions
Poacher's Blend - Shows pineapple-lemon characteristics with a hint of citrus, as well as a herbaceous twist! Good with seafood, pasta dishes — especially creamy ones. Try it with vegetarian dishes based on vegetables with light sauces.
Eden Valley Riesling - Exhibits subtle floral aromas and lemon lime characteristics. Excellent with Asian style salads, shellfish with lemon based sauces and fresh cheeses.
Gamekeeper's Reserve - Showing sweet strawberry characteristics when young. Then cherry raspberry and light spice tones as it develops. Try with antipasto, meat based pasta dishes or rare tuna.
Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz - A medium to full bodied wine showing plum and blackberry flavours, with hints of vanilla and nutmeg. Try with roast beef, steak dishes or rack of lamb.
Faith Shiraz - Berry fruits and Indian spice undertones are evident, with a hint of violet. Try with fragrant curries spiced with cinnamon and cardamom. Good with Moroccan tajines and subtly spiced dishes.
Blackwell Shiraz - Showing big rich flavours of chocolate and liquorice. Excellent with any red meats, rich braised dishes or game. Perfect with firm full flavoured cheeses like cheddar or Parmegiano reggiano.
