Undulating Landscapes & Bright, Standout Soils

In the North Western part of the Barossa Valley, this region is characterised by an undulating sandy dune landscape. Bright yellow and sandly loam soils are a unique feature.

A region characterised by its standout soils - unique sands over red clay pepperred with shattered ironstone.

The Kalimna area produces wines with amazing texture. Ample, yet velvety tannins provide a silky mouthfeel. For St Hallett, these vineyards provide fantastic components which we use across our St Hallett Faith and Blackwell Shiraz.

Highlights include deep purple colours, violet and floral aromas and immensely generous blackberry flavours.
