A Bit of the Barossa Valley in the Eden
The least elevated and most northern part of Eden Valley, Moculta is home to some of our oldest Shiraz and Riesling.
Open and undulated grasslands are underpinned by bright red soils, limestone and marble rock. This gives rich minerality to Shiraz and bright, citrus characteristics to Riesling from this area.
These powerful citrus flavours are best illustrated in our St Hallett Eden Valley Riesling. We are always excited by Shiraz from this area and the minerality through the whole palate which provides real complexity to our Garden of Eden Shiraz.
